TISSMAT 2022 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidates seeking admission in the HRM&LR and ODCL courses offered by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences need to meet the eligibility criteria of TISS MAT. The eligibility criteria of TISS MAT 2022 is provided below.

• Candidates must have graduation/ post-graduation from any recognized institution/ university.
• Those who have appeared for the final year exam may also apply for TISS MAT.
• Candidates must have secured qualifying marks in all the subjects in the qualifying degree.

Candidates from any stream may apply for TISS MAT. However, they must have applied for the MA ODCL/ MA HRM&LR course at TISS Mumbai to appear for TISS MAT.

HOW TO APPLY FOR TISSMAT 2022:

TISS Admission 2022 Applicants may apply online at the Institute's website. For the candidates living in remote parts of the country where internet facilities do not exist, they can obtain a hard copy of the application form for admission directly from the Institute.

TISSMAT 2022 ADMIT CARD:

Candidates who have achieved the TISSNET score and will fill in the online detailed application filling (DAF) in a suitable manner will be able to download the TISS MAT Hall Ticket 2021/ TISS PAT Hall Ticket 2022 from their official website. The admit card download option will be available soon on the website itself.

TISSMAT 2022 SELECTION PROCESS:

TISS Management Aptitude Test Score will be counted along with Stage 2 of the admission process & thus will be regarded only for those shortlisted for Stage 2. TISS-MAT score will be aggregated with the Score of PIT (Pre-Interview Test) & PI (Personal Interview) in the following manner to arrive at the final score for selection.

• TISSMAT: 30%
• Pre-Interview Test (PIT) : 40%
• Personal Interview (PI): 30%

TISSMAT 2022 EXAM PATTERN:

TISS MAT is apportioned into three sections, namely Comprehension, Management Data Interpretation, & Business Awareness. A total of fifteen questions will be asked in each section. The total duration of the examination is 30 minutes & it will be conducted after a gap of five to ten minutes from the TISSNET exam. Sectional Objectives of TISS MAT 2022 Exam-

TISSMAT 2022 RESULT:

TISS will announce TISSMAT 2022 Scorecard on the official website. The essential information regarding TISSMAT Results 2022 is given below: Candidates can inspect their results by following the below-mentioned steps:-

• Visit their official website.
• Click on TISSMAT 2022 Results.
• Enter your roll number.
• Click on the submit button.
• Scores shall be displayed on the screen.
• Download it & take a printout for the counselling round.
• Based on these results, counselling will be done to allot seats under various disciplines of PG courses.

TISSMAT 2022 MERIT LIST:

Program wise Open (Unreserved) Merit List (OML) will be made based on candidates score in TISSMAT and the candidate’s preference of programs as provided in the online application form. OML will be prepared without considering the applied category. Thus, providing an opportunity for every candidate to get elected in the OML depending on their aggregate score.

After recognising all the candidates in OML, a separate Category wise Merit List (CML) will be drawn for the number of seats reserved for every category as per the Government of India/ University Grants Commission regulations on the matter.

TISSMAT 2022 COUNSELLING:

Once the TISSMAT Results are announced, the university of TISS will release the merit list & announce the name of the candidates who will fit the TISSMAT Counselling 2022 session. A merit list will be prepared for the candidates who qualify in the stages mentioned above & if there is still some vacancy left, it will be offered to the candidates who were there on the waiting list. No candidates would be offered direct admission.

TISSMAT 2020 EXAM ANALYSIS:

The addition of TISS MAT was a surprise ingredient in 2020.

Section I - Comprehension-

There were two Reading Comprehension passages. One contained eight questions, while another contained seven questions. The passages were not tricky to understand, but one had to analyze a lot of data. One passage was tiny, while the other passage was pretty long. The shorter passage was on “Changes in Operating Ratios in the Indian Railways” ( surpluses/ Deficits etc.)

The tactics would be to dedicate 12 minutes to the section & attempt at least ten questions. The overall difficulty level of this section remained Moderate.

Section II - Management Data Interpretation-

This section granted three DI sets of five questions each.

A perfect strategy would be to dedicate 13 minutes to this section & try and solve all questions targeting a score of 11. This was overall a lenient section.

Section III - Business Awareness-

While the GK section of the TISS NET offered questions from various fields like government policies, sports, zoology, etc., the TISS MAT presented questions related essentially to business.

There were a total of 15 questions that could be attempted in 5 minutes. About half the number of questions were tough questions. The General Knowledge questions were not so recent. Some of the current General Knowledge questions went back to 2014, 2015 & 2017 periods. Some of the General Knowledge questions included:

a) Which is the odd man out (Names of three CEOs & one name was the odd man out)?

b) Which brand takes its name from a body fluid (Answer: Pepsi from ‘pepsin’)?

c) Which TATA group existed when Jamshedji Tata was alive?

A score of six marks would be desirable for the Business Awareness section.

Overall Analysis: A safe score for the TISS MAT would be 25-27. Candidates should have at least attempted about 32-35 questions seriously with 85-90% accuracy.

• Candidates should be able to manage their time wisely not to get exhausted during their study time examination.
