Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation pass (or its equivalent as recognized by the Indian Government)
Nationality:
A prospective SSC MTS should be:
- An Indian citizen
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan or Tibetan refugees
- A person of Indian origin migrating from the following countries with the intent to settle permanently in India: Pakistan/Myanmar/Sri Lanka/East African Countries (Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia)/Vietnam
Age Limit:
- You must be a minimum of 18 or a minimum of 27 years to be eligible for the post, unless you fit the age relaxation criteria.
The age limit must be counted as of January 1, 2021.
