Power of previous year paper- Analyzing past year RPSC questions papers is essential to get hold of the frequently asked topics in any examination. This is the most intelligent way to prepare for the exam rather than the conventional subject-wise manner (generally practised in the graduate examination).

Follow the trend- It is crucial to go through the detailed exam pattern of all three stages of the examination. It is essential to be aware of the pattern like the number of questions asked in different papers, timing, marking scheme, mode of writing, etc. It helps a candidate plan and prepares in a better way.

Macro & Micro timetables- By this, we mean that never make a firm timetable with many stringent aspects of covering subtopics within a particular time frame of minutes. Be flexible yet goal-oriented. Construct your study plan in such a manner that two or three revisions are ensured.

Practice Mock Test- This is the most crucial part of the preparation journey. Giving mocks not just check your current knowledge but also helps to identify your critical mistakes. Try to analyze RPSC RAS mocks & identify your week areas and work on them.

Time Management- Develop a habit of reading, studying & memorizing the theoretical aspects but do not forget to recall them in long-term memory. Remember, the examination is a year-long cycle & candidates sometimes need to reflect & express the learning after twelve months. So plan your things accordingly.

Make a habit of writing notes- Keeping notes & revising through the notes helps revise better. Self-made notes are so handy that you can quickly revise. It also helps to retain & recall in a better way & in the examination gives an edge.

Revision- After completing 60 - 70% of the RPSC RAS exam syllabus, a candidate is advised to opt for simulated test series, attempting full-length tests. So, to develop that understanding & practice, learn by attempting the mocks in real exam-like situations.

Keep track of the dates written above and be mindful of your preparation. Carefully read about the examination pattern and go through the exam analysis once precisely. Remember, you are able!
