HSSC Constable Preparation Tips

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the HSSC Constable 2021 Exam:

  • Start by familiarizing yourself thoroughly with the syllabus and its detailed sub-topics. That is always the foremost step in preparation. You must know the syllabus like the back of your hand.
  • Once the syllabus is clear, move onto the list of books you will get your hands on. The choice of books is crucial, for it has the power to make or break your chances of acing the exam. Ensure you buy the right books.
  • Note down the topics and theories that are common in every textbook so that you do not confuse or overwhelm yourself every time you see a pile of untouched books.
  • Once you think you know a substantial amount, you can move onto solving practice papers. There are plenty available online as well as on the HSSC official site. Solve at least 1 paper a day and make a note of your weak areas so that you can focus on just that later in the same day. Solving practice papers can teach you as much as reading a textbook can.
  • When you have solved ample practice papers, it's time to sit for timed mock tests, either at home or preferably in a testing set-up. Evaluate your scores thoroughly and work on the areas where you are faltering.
