Eligibility Criteria for CSIR NET Posts
- Educational Qualification:
- You must possess a Master's in Science (or its equivalent), Integrated BS-MS, BS (4 years), B. Tech, B.E., B. Pharma, or an MBBS degree from a government-recognized institution.
- If you belong to either the General or OBC category, you must secure a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- If you belong to either the SC, ST, or PwD category, you must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- If you have completed your Master's anytime before 19 September 1991 with at least 50% aggregate marks, you must possess a UGC-approved Ph.D. degree.
- Age Limit (as of 1 June 2021):
- Upper Age Limit for Junior Research Fellowship: 28 years
- Upper Age Limit for Lectureship/Assistant Professor: None
